Prayer of Dependency

It is amazing. No matter how far we wander from God, His Grace draws nearer.

Lord, I have neglected my calling, lacking obedience. I have let the enemy take a foot hold. I pray that you rescue me from my enemies, bring me out of disgrace, and purify my heart. Once there was so much Joy, and how have I stumbled so far? I repent, that I have been prideful, envious, and full of anger. Lord, I pray and You answer.

I am compelled to offer a sacrifice in thanksgiving, but I have nothing, but myself.

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you
will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:1-2

I have dirty hands, you make them clean.
I have a dark mind, you bring light.
I have a hard heart, you make it new.

Making those have’s to had’s.

Make me new, for Your Glory.
